Stefan Koop graduated from the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich with a degree in surveying and an additional degree in industrial engineering.

Work experience

He spent twelve years as an officer in the German Army and four years as a sales manager for optical devices in defense technology at Carl Zeiss in Oberkochen. This was followed by six years in executive search at Mülder & Partner in Hamburg. A subsequent six-year stint in executive search as Managing Director at Russell Reynolds in Hamburg led him to Delta Management Consultants in 2002.

Stefan Koop has held management positions in the media, public sector with railroads and logistics, branded goods/retail/tourism, and mechanical and plant engineering sectors for over 25 years. Across industries, he recruits managers for the functional areas of CFO, HR and Corporate Communication.

Personal interests

Stefan Koop plays stage-experienced on the Hammond organ. He is a passionate golfer. History, especially Frederick II, interests him very much. Friends call him a gourmet.
