Born in 1955, studied mechanical engineering with a focus on marine engineering and marine mechanical engineering at the University of Rostock, graduating as Diplom-Ingenieur in 1977. Further studies in Japan followed in 1987/1988 within a scholarship from the European Union.

Work experience

for 10 years, Hans-Matthias Ruppert held various positions in plant engineering and shipbuilding, including at the Vulkan Group in Bremen. in 1989, he entered the field of personnel consulting. He worked for a long time in two well-known American companies and the leading German consulting firm. With Delta Management Consultants since the beginning of 2004.

Hans-Matthias Ruppert has managed numerous consulting mandates in the high-tech industry, mechanical and plant engineering, electrical engineering, and automotive sector in the upper management level and has advised companies in Central and Eastern Europe, China and Japan in filling executive positions.
