After completing an apprenticeship as a banker, he studied economics at the University of Hamburg, graduating with business administration.

Work experience

Martin Schupeta gained his first experience in executive search as a researcher in the then-emerging digital economy starting in 1998. After completing his banking apprenticeship and studies in Hamburg, he held positions in corporate and investment banking and wealth management in Germany, Mexico and London.

For an international banking group, he was responsible for business with large, medium-sized companies and subsequently structured the acquisition of new customers for a Hamburg-based private bank.

An entrepreneur himself, he founded one of Germany’s first craft beer providers. Subsequently, he advised start-ups on growth topics and designed, among other things, the start-up promotion strategy for a university. He has been a partner of Delta Management Consultants since 2021.

Consulting focus

In particular, he advises managing owner-managed medium-sized companies in growth phases and succession situations. In addition, he assists companies across all industries with international market entries and expansions. He also draws on his experience as a founder and entrepreneur. In addition, his clientele includes clients from the banking, family office and asset management sectors.
